The screening Tuesday in New York City is one of ten screenings planned around the country before before the show’s premiere. Cyclists including series star Tim Guinee will pedal to generate enough energy for the screening.
Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to walk or bike to the event, at Hudson River Park’s Pier 57. In a Portlandian touch, bikes messengers will be available.
The event will have room for 1,000 guests, and will be first come, first served.
“Revolution,” produced by J.J. Abrams, Jon Favreau and Eric Kripke, premieres Monday, Sept. 17 at 10 p.m., following “The Voice.”

The upcoming NBC sci-fi series Revolution will be filming inside the office building located at 201 S. Front Street Tuesday.

According to film permits, the scenes will be set inside a bank and insurance office. They will also film characters peeking inside the old bank building from outside.
Five actors and five extras are expected to be involved in these scenes. Traffic should not be impacted by the filming.

‘Revolution’ was caught filming on Market Street in Wilmington, NC yesterday (Wednesday) and will continue until this Friday.
The scene involved a gunfight between two factions or armies.
Actors were seen on the roof of the building carrying guns and dressed in military-like uniforms.

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Cape Fear Community College was transformed into the University of Chicago today for scenes for the new NBC show Revolution.
University of Chicago signs were hung around the filming location. Also, cars with Illinois license plates were spotted downtown as well. Parts of Revolution are supposed to take place in Chicago.
Actors Tim Guinee and Elizabeth Mitchell, who is best known for her role on Lost, worked on some of today’s scenes.
Guinee wrote on Twitter, “Okay, big, giant talent crush on Elizabeth Mitchell. What a smart, funny, joy she is.”
Film crews asked us to turn off our cameras while they were recording scenes in order to keep the plot line from being revealed before this episode airs. We can report that they used fake gunfire for the scene that was shot today.
Earlier in the day, Front Street was closed to film scenes for the show, which will air September 17th on NBC.
The cast of ‘Revolution’ began shooting scenes for the second episode of the show today in Wilmington, NC at the Fifth Street bridge.
According to film permits, three members of the cast are additionally expected to film dialogue scenes at the NCDOT railroad right of way area and the wooded area near Brunswick, Hanover, and Campbell Streets.

Later in the day, one of the actors is slated to film outside a business on Castle Street. The film permit said this scene is supposed to be set in “Chicago” and will show the character walking through riot aftermath. There will be some street closures and intermittent traffic control in connection with this scene.

The film permit said this scene is supposed to be set in “Chicago” and will show the character walking through riot aftermath. There will be some street closures and intermittent traffic control in connection with this scene.
NBC said the drama is slated to premiere on Monday, September 17 at 10:00 p.m. After that, it will continue to air on Monday nights in that time slot.
The show’s pilot episode was shot in Atlanta, Georgia. However, the entire series, except for any on-location shoots, will be filmed in Wilmington.
